Sugared Walnuts

Ingredients are for 12 Servings.

Additional Info:

For this recipe you can use whole walnuts or walnut halves.

Directions:
In a heavy saucepan; combine sugar, milk and ground cinnamon.

Cook to 242°F or what is known as "soft ball" stage.

Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and walnuts. Mix to coat the walnuts thoroughly.

Spread out on wax paper to cool.

Break apart and store in tightly sealed jars.
