If you have stained plates and dishes, soak them in a mixture of baking soda and hot water. Let them stand overnight, then rub with a moist cloth dipped in salt. Wash and dry as usual.

3 tablespoons

Additional Info:

For this recipe you can substitute strong flavoured Black olives for the Kalamata olives.

Blend the butter, mustard and pressed garlic until thoroughly mixed and smooth.

Add the chopped olives, thyme, rosemary and fennel seeds and blend to desired texture.

Refrigerate until ready to use.

The finished product is a piquant, delicious butter.
