Directions:

Make a simple syrup by boiling the sugar and water together. Remove from heat and let cool completely.

Add vodka, vanilla extract, anise extract and yellow food coloring.

Yellow food coloring gives the Galliano its characteristic look. You can omit this if you like.

This is a "no wait" recipe. It's ready to use right away.

Tested and True
When adding dry ingredients alternately with liquid, begin and end with dry ingredients. Beat just until smooth after each addition; over mixing will reduce the volume.
