Tips and Hacks
Never soak wooden handled knives, or other wooden handled utensils in water. Wash and dry them quickly. Soaking swells the handle and can warp and separate it from the metal.
Dabo Kolo

Ingredients

Directions:

Dabo Kolo is also known as Little Fried Snacks

In a 1-quart bowl; mix flour, salt, sugar, cayenne pepper and oil. Knead adding water spoonful by spoonful, to form a stiff dough.

Knead dough for 5 minutes longer.

Tear off a piece about the size of a golf ball and place it on a lightly floured board to prevent sticking. Using the palms of your hands; roll it into a long strip about 1/2 inch thick. Cut it into 1/2 inch pieces with a knife or kitchen scissors.

Place enough pieces to cover the bottom of an ungreased 9 inch frying pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until light brown on all sides.

Repeat this process until you've used all the dough.

Delicious served with a cocktail or a good movie.
