Long sprigs of rosemary tied together make an excellent basting brush for the barbecue. When you're finished basting your food, throw the sprigs onto the coals for added flavor.
Cranberry-Apple Oatmeal

Ingredients are for 8 Servings.

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F / 180°C / Gas Mark 4

- Combined the cranberries and 1/4 cup of brown sugar; set aside.
- Mix 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon; set aside.

Place milk, remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar and salt in a large microwave safe bowl.

Heat in microwave until very hot but not boiling, on HIGH (100% power).

Add raisins, oatmeal, apples, cranberry mixture, you previously made, and chopped pecan nuts.

Mix well.

Place into an oven proof dish and bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 30 minutes.

Remove from oven and stir.

Top with cinnamon sugar mixture. Serve.
