Candied Nuts

Ingredients are for 24 Servings.

Directions:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Combine sugar, water, cinnamon and allspice in large saucepan.

Boil over medium heat until reduced to 1/3 cup. You must stay with it, as it will reduce quickly.

Add the assorted nuts all at once. Stir quickly to coat all nuts.

Spread candied nuts on a parchment lined baking sheet, breaking up large clumps of nuts with a spoon.

After candy cools, break apart into individual nuts.

Store in an airtight tin at room temperature.

Speed up the baking time of your potatoes. Soak them in salt water for 20 minutes before baking. This will cause them to bake rapidly.
