- Grease 2 13x9 inch baking dishes.
1. Cook pasta according to the package instructions but reduce the cooking time by 5 minutes.
2. Drain the Ziti and set aside.
3. Meanwhile, sauté the ground beef and onions until the beef is well browned.
4. Use 2 large skillets if needed, or brown half of the meat at a time.
5. Add mushrooms and garlic to the meat mixture and cook 3 minutes.
6. Combine meat mixture, spaghetti sauce, wine, oregano, salt and pepper.
7. Add Ziti pasta and mix well.
8. Pour into 2 greased 13 x 9 inch baking dishes and sprinkle the top with Mozzarella cheese.
9. Cover tightly with tin foil.
10. Bake in the preheated 350°F oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
11. Serve with sour cream.
