1. Season the Brisket with pepper and place in a roasting pan.
2. Brown uncovered in a hot 425°F oven.
3. Lower the oven temperature to 250°F.
4. Dissolve onion soup mix in water.
5. Mix ketchup and beer together and add to soup mixture.
6. Pour mixture over meat.
7. Cover pan with foil and roast in the 250°F oven for 3 1/2 hours or until tender.
8. Remove the meat from the roast pan.
9. Measure 1/4 cup of pan drippings and stir in the flour to make a paste.
10. Whisk the paste into the pan with the brisket juices.
11. To make a thicker gravy, add more flour.
12. Return the meat to the pan and continue roasting for an additional 30 minutes.
13. Slice meat across the grain and serve with the pan drippings gravy.

A good rule of thumb for freezing spaghetti is to slightly undercook it before freezing. This helps maintain a better texture when reheated. Making sure each noodle is well-coated with olive oil or spaghetti sauce can also prevent clumping and freezer burn.
