1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil until sugar dissolves.
2. Remove from the heat and let the mixture steep for 20 minutes.
3. Strain the syrup into a container and discard the lemon beebrush, it has done its job.
4. Be sure to label your container.
