Grilled Steak Sandwich

This sandwich is delicious served on Italian Bread with a chilled Tomato Basil Soup on the side.

Ingredients are for 4 Servings

Ingredients:
Qty Unit Ingredient
1 pound Flank Steak
1 teaspoon Black Pepper » cracked
4 slices Italian Bread
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/4 cup Salsa
1 medium Green Onion » thinly sliced
2 teaspoons Cilantro » minced
2 cups Iceberg Lettuce » shredded
Prep Time Process Time Overall Time
10 Minutes 10 Minutes 20 minutes
Directions:

1. Sprinkle pepper on both sides of flank steak.

2. Place on grill over medium heat.

3. Grill about 10 minutes, turning once, to desired doneness.

4. Thinly slice meat across the grain.

5. Grill or toast bread slices.

6. In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, salsa, onion, and cilantro.

7. Spread this mixture on each of the bread slices.

8. Top with iceberg lettuce, or the lettuce of your choice, and the steak slices.
