Tested and True

If your homemade mayonnaise separates, you can often fix it by whisking in a tablespoon of cold water. If that doesn't work, start with a new egg yolk in a bowl and gradually whisk in the broken mayonnaise. This simple hack can save your sauce and restore its creaminess.

Success! A dish worthy of a Klingon's table. The custard, though a bit soft, still battles against the dish's enemies, creating a feast fit for a warrior. What is more honorable than that?

I tried making this, and while the flavor was decent, I found the texture a bit lacking. The custard didn't set as firmly as I would have liked, and the pie crust ended up soggy.

Greetings! I am Klingon! The battle between bacon and onions in this dish is fierce and glorious, just as it should be for a true Klingon's meal.
