1. In a medium saucepan, mix together 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of espresso powder, and 1/3 cup of granulated sugar.
2. Add 1/4 cup of milk, 1/4 cup of heavy cream, and 1/4 cup of light corn syrup.
3. Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture constantly as it heats up to ensure the sugar dissolves and the cocoa blends into the liquid without clumping.
4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then remove it from the heat.
5. With the saucepan off the heat, add 2 ounces of finely chopped semisweet chocolate and 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter.
6. Stir until both the chocolate and butter have completely melted and the sauce is smooth.
7. Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
8. Your Chocolate Espresso Fudge Sauce is now ready to be served warm over your favorite desserts. If not serving immediately, allow the sauce to cool slightly before transferring it to an airtight container. It can be refrigerated and gently reheated before use.
