Tested and True

If your homemade mayonnaise separates, you can often fix it by whisking in a tablespoon of cold water. If that doesn't work, start with a new egg yolk in a bowl and gradually whisk in the broken mayonnaise. This simple hack can save your sauce and restore its creaminess.

I'm quite familiar with Latin American cuisine, but arepas have always been a bit of a mystery to me. This recipe was a fantastic introduction.

It's an interesting texture and flavor, different from Italian bread but in a good way.

I never heard of arepas before, but this recipe caught my eye. I stuffed mine with pulled pork and avocado, delicious!

As a Colombian, I have a deep love for arepas, though ours are a bit different. This style is good, really good.

Making Arepas is like a ritual in my house, we grow up with this flavor in our mouths. I usually cook them on a griddle, but baking worked.

Nothing beats the taste of arepas made on a budare.
