Easy Shortbread

Ingredients are for 6 Servings.

1 cup

2 1/2 cups

Preheat oven to 350°F / 180°C / Gas Mark 4

Place room temperature butter in bowl.

Add icing sugar and work together with your hands.

Add the sifted flour. Keep working with hands until well mixed.

Put the dough on a board and pat to 1/2 inch thickness.

Cut in rectangles or use a fancy cookie cutter.

Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 20 to 25 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
