White Rice long grain
On the stove top; melt margarine in a heavy, large saucepan over medium-high heat.
Add the salt and long grain rice. Sauté until rice is golden brown, about 8 minutes.
Add water and boil until water is absorbed, about 10 minutes.
Stir in the butter. Cover, reduce heat to very low and cook until rice is tender, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.
