1. Whisk the whipping cream with 1/4 cup of maple syrup to soft mounds. Set aside.
2. Divide the remaining maple syrup and whiskey among 4 warmed, heat proof mugs or goblets.
3. Pour in coffee leaving 1 inch to the top.
4. Spoon whipped topping over each coffee.
5. Decorate with tiny Canadian flags if desired.
