- Chicken should be skinless, boneless, cut into strips.
1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Set aside.
2. Whisk together gravy mix, 1/2 cup water, and honey until smooth. Set aside.
3. Stir-fry chicken strips in 1 tablespoon hot vegetable oil in a large skillet 3 to 5 minutes.
4. Remove from skillet, and keep warm.
5. In the same skillet, stir-fry garlic and ginger in remaining 1 tablespoon oil in skillet for 1 minute.
6. Add green onions, celery, carrot, and stir-fry 2 minutes.
7. Add mushrooms and stir-fry 2 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
8. Stir in pre-cooked chicken.
9. Pour remaining 1-1/4 cups water and sherry over chicken mixture.
10. Bring to a boil, stirring often.
11. Add gravy mixture; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens.
12. Serve over cooked pasta, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
