Don't throw away those apple cores. They can be repurposed to create a delightful apple-infused water. Just slice up a few apples, cores included, and add them to a pitcher of ice water, in no time at all, you'll have a refreshing, flavorful drink to enjoy.

The idea is good, but I found them a bit heavy. Maybe an adjustment with less bacon or a lighter stock would be better.

Was really looking forward to these, but they didn't work out for me at all. They ended up being too dense and didn't absorb the flavors of the stew as I hoped. Not sure if I did something wrong.

Interesting addition to soup. The texture was a bit different from what I'm used to with dumplings, but they were good.

Put these in my veggie stew, and they were delicious. A detailed step on frying the bacon perfectly would make this flawless.

Just what my beef stew needed. These dumplings are little flavor bombs, especially with the bacon. Will definitely be my go-to dumplings now.
