Lemon Beebrush Madeleines

2 cups Cake Flour » unsifted
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Unsalted Butter » room temperature
1 2/3 cups Sugar
5 large Eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup Lemon Beebrush Syrup » warm

20 Minutes 15 Minutes 35 minutes
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°F / 160°C / Gas Mark 3

- Position the rack in the center of the oven.
- Generously grease Madeleine pans with butter.
- Dust the pans with flour and shake off any excess.

1. In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

2. In a mixing bowl with an electric mixer, beat the butter until soft and fluffy.

3. Gradually add sugar and beat until very light and creamy.

4. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

5. Add the vanilla.

6. Gradually stir in the flour mixture and blend well.

7. Turn the batter into the prepared Madeleine pans.

8. Bake in a preheated 325°F oven for about 10 to 15 minutes.

9. Insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean the Madeleines are done.

10. Tip out onto a cooling rack and turn right side up.

11. Using a thin skewer, prick a hole in the top of each Madeleine and pour the warm Lemon Beebrush syrup over each cake.
