Chicken broth is usually made by boiling stewing chickens and vegetables in a large amount of water. All ingredients are boiled in a large pot for about 2 hours.
It is then strained to remove the vegetables and chicken, leaving a wonderful broth that's useful for soups, stews, gravies and sauces to list a very few.
Any time you're savoury recipe lists water in it's ingredients, consider substituting the water for chicken broth, you will be pleasantly surprised.
