In a 1-quart bowl; mix flour, salt, sugar, cayenne pepper and oil. Knead adding water spoonful by spoonful, to form a stiff dough. Knead dough for 5 minutes longer.
Tear off a piece about the size of a golf ball and place it on a lightly floured board to prevent sticking. Using the palms of your hands; roll it into a long strip about 1/2 inch thick. Cut it into 1/2 inch pieces with a knife or kitchen scissors.
Place enough pieces to cover the bottom of an ungreased 9 inch frying pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until light brown on all sides.
Repeat this process until you've used all the dough.
Delicious served with a cocktail or a good movie.
