4 large Egg whites
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
7 cups sifted Confectioner's sugar

Sift the confectioners sugar.
Warm a bowl with boiling water, discard the water and dry the bowl.
Place the egg whites and lemon juice in the bowl. Slightly beat this for about a minute, just long enough to make them liquid. Add half the confectioner's sugar to the egg whites and beat the mixture lightly for about 2 minutes. For the success of your frosting, it's important not to skip the beating. Royal Frosting must be beaten until it becomes smooth and stiff.
Gradually add the remaining confectioner's sugar a little at a time, beating well after each addition. Continue beating, making sure to scrape the sides of the bowl occasionally, until the icing is smooth and shiny. The icing should be very stiff.
