Yields 4 Portions
1 each chopped Onion
2 clove minced Garlic
2 tablespoons Butter or margarine
2 cups cooked, drained Soybeans
1/2 cup Fine bread crumbs
1 each Egg
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
2 tablespoons Sesame seeds

In a small pan, saute onion and garlic in butter or margarine, and cook until translucent. Set aside.
In food processor, whip beans, bread crumbs, egg, soy sauce and sesame seeds to a coarse meal. Transfer to a medium bowl, add garlic and onion mixture; mix well.
Shape into 4 patties. Cook in saute pan until brown, approximately 5 minutes each side.
These burgers are also a barbecue favorite, served on a whole-wheat onion bun with the traditional toppings of tomato, lettuce, etc.
