1 cup softened Butter
3/4 cup Sugar
1 3/4 cups All-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Add these ingredients to your Shopping List.
Directions Preheat oven to 300°F

Cream butter and sugar. Add flour, a little at a time, then vanilla. Stir until blended. Roll dough into small balls the size of a walnut. Flatten with cookie stamp or bottom of a glass.

Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake in a preheated oven for 17 to 20 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned.

After baking, sprinkle with additional sugar (optional).
