1 cup Dried Corn
1 cup Whole wheat
1 cup Brown rice
1 cup White rice
1 cup Black beans
1 cup Lentils
1 cup Oatmeal

In a food processor or blender, whirl the grains separately until finely chopped. Mix well.
This veggie burger mix keeps well when stored in an air-tight container. When you want a veggie burger scoop the amount you need. 1 cup of veggie burger mix makes 4 good sized burgers.
Boil 1 cup of water for each cup of mix. Add to dry mixture and stir until liquid is absorbed. Drop by large spoonfuls into nonstick fry pan. This will firm up as it cooks. Turn when brown on bottom and brown the other side. Serve on buns with lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard or whatever your favourite burger topping is.
For a more tender burger use a little more water.
Taco Burgers = Add 1/2 package of taco seasonings to each cup of water.
Hawaiian burgers = Use pineapple juice in place of 1/2 the water.
Sloppy Joes = Add 1/2 cup sloppy joe mix for each cup of water. Stir fry to chunky consistency. Serve on a bun and top with additional sauce.
