In a glass jar with a lid, combine the soy sauce, oil, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and wine. Screw on the lid tightly and shake the ingredients well. Store the Teriyaki Sauce in the refrigerator.

If you're using this recipe for meat, use red wine for beef and white wine for chicken. Marinade your meat for up to 4 hours before cooking and baste your meat with the sauce while cooking.
