1 pound Crabmeat
1 medium chopped Onion
1 large chopped Celery stalk
1 clove finely chopped Garlic
1/4 cup Butter or margarine
6 cups Tomatoes
1 package (10 oz) Frozen okra
1 each Bay leaf
2 teaspoons Salt
1 teaspoon Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Whole thyme
1/4 teaspoon Chili powder
1/4 teaspoon Pepper
3 cups Cooked rice

In a 4 to 5 quart pot, saute onion, celery and garlic in butter or margarine until tender.

Add tomatoes, okra and all of the seasonings. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.

Add Crab meat and heat through. Serve over hot cooked rice.
