Preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C
6 cups Pears
1 teaspoon ground Ginger
1 cup Rolled oats
1/3 cup Brown sugar
1 3/4 cups All-purpose flour
1/2 cup melted Butter

Peel, core, slice the pears and toss them with the ginger.
Grease a baking dish and layer the ginger pears in the bottom.
Mix together rolled oats, brown sugar and flour. Pour in the melted butter. Mix well to a crumble consistency and sprinkle evenly on top of the pears.
Bake at 375°F for approximately 35 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the pears are juicy and bubbly.
