Yields 6 Portions
2 cups All-purpose flour
2 teaspoons Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon grated Nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
2 large Eggs
1/2 cup Milk
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Pumpkin puree
1/4 cup melted Butter or margarine
1 cup chopped Walnuts

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon onto wax paper.
Beat eggs, milk, sugar, pumpkin and butter in large bowl.
Fold up the edges of the wax paper and pour the dry ingredients into the wet. Mix well. Fold in walnuts. Spoon into a greased 9 x 3 x 3 loaf pan.
Bake at 350°F oven for 55 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes and remove from loaf pan. Cool completely and wrap in foil.
