1 can Chickpeas
3 each slices White bread
1 large Egg
1/2 teaspoon minced Garlic
1/4 teaspoon finely diced Red peppers
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Pepper

Oil For Frying

In blender grind chickpeas and bread together. Mix in egg, garlic, red peppers, salt and pepper. Blend about 30 seconds more.

Shape into finger length rolls and chill 1 hour.

Heat deep fryer to 370°F.
In batches, carefully drop 4 or 5 "hot dogs" into it. Do not over crowd the fryer. Fry until browned; drain on a paper towel. Serve with mustard or hot chili sauce.
