My family loves deep fried Halibut with this batter.

I deep fry it @ 350°F. It's done when it floats and lightly golden.

In a glass bowl; sift together flour, baking powder, salt and cornstarch.

Whisk milk and water into dry ingredients.

This fish batter is best if you let it stand for 1 hour before dredging your fish. You will see bubbles forming.
