6 large lightly beaten Eggs
1/2 cup Granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Orange flavoring
1 teaspoon Almond flavoring
3 cups Flour
2 tablespoons Baking powder
2 tablespoons Butter
1/2 cup Confectioner's sugar

Oil For Frying

Beat eggs, sugar, salt, orange and almond flavourings. Add flour and baking powder. Cut in butter and knead to a smooth balls. If dough is too soft, gradually add a little more flour.

Divide dough into 4 pieces and roll each piece to 1/4 inch thickness on a floured board. Cut into strips 6 inches long and 1 inch wide; tie into a loose knot.

Fry in oil until golden brown; drain on paper towels and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.
