Ingredients:

1/2 cup Orange juice, fresh
3/4 cup Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1/2 tablespoon Almond flavoring
1/4 teaspoon Poppy seed
Add these ingredients to your Shopping List.
Directions

In a saucepan blend orange juice, sugar, vanilla and almond flavoring. Bring to a boil, simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add poppy seeds. Brush on Almond Poppy Seed bread while it's still warm.

3 cups All-purpose flour
2 3/4 cups Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
3 teaspoons Poppy seed
3 teaspoons Vanilla extract
3 tablespoons Butter
3 teaspoons Almond flavoring
3 ea Eggs
1 1/2 cups Milk, 2%
1 1/2 cups Canola oil
Directions:

Blend all of the ingredients together in one bowl and beat 2 minutes with electric beater.

Turn into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake for approximately 60 minutes in a preheated oven. A toothpick inserted in the center and coming out clean indicates bread is done.
